What is the movie "Hellraiser 2"? It's Hellraiser 2. It's like Gone with the Wind is Gone with the Wind and Titanic is Titanic. Despite the ridiculousness of the comparison, "Hellraiser 2" is a blockbuster movie, just for the horror genre. It's already more than just a scary movie, it's already close to philosophy, albeit with a scary face. Not a trivial plot for its time, charismatic characters (Cenobites) and an interesting thought out idea (real world puzzle-ad). This is a case where the author of the story, was the best choice to realize the production of a movie, based on his own work. Not before, not after such a quality reproduction, by other directors, the invented world, or rather hell, Clive Barker was not.

It is pointless to tell the content of the movie, you have to watch it yourself from beginning to end. For sophisticated moviegoers, it may seem not so interesting, but you should discount the fact that the movie is more than 20 years old and since then many films of this and related genres have copied some elements of the original idea. And what seemed brilliant 15-20 years ago is now lost in the variety of imitations and, what to hide, in self-copying in the subsequent parts of the series.
