A girl named Sally is having a party tonight - friends, music, drinks. But in the midst of the fun, someone turns on the TV, which is broadcasting about demons. Then the incredible happens - the demon from the movie enters Sally's house through the TV screen.

A year earlier, Lamberto Bava, in collaboration with Dario Argente, directed the fast-hitting film Demons. The continuation was not long in coming - and now, with a meager budget, the masters rallied again and presented to the public another film about deadly creatures.

But this time the demons do not appear thanks to an ominous mask in the cinema - they literally crawl out of the TV screen - and a bloody bacchanalia begins in a house built with the latest technology, where residents, it seemed, should have been protected from all sorts of encroachments on them and their property - but in reality this house turned out to be by no means a fortress - but a trap.

The film begins, like the first part - a few seemingly ominous moments that turn out to be nothing more than a warm-up for testing - but after ... What is happening on the screen makes you fully empathize with the characters. Demons inspire horror and disgust - and even if, judging by the first frames, what was shown in the previous part turns out to be nothing more than what is happening somewhere in a parallel dimension - having penetrated into the world of the living again - they will not stop, foolish and ruthless, thirsting for only one thing - kill.

Excellent direction, completely realistic setting - if the character touches the broken glass, then he will bleed. Although the transformation into a demon is not shown in such detail as in the first film, but it is not necessary. In this film, the main thing is not an attempt to disgust the viewer - but the very atmosphere of suspense and horror - who is there behind the wall - just a frightened boy - or a real monster?

Many scolded Bava for self-repetition - there are too many analogies with the first film - but was it not a special move? Everywhere everything happens the same - nothing changes anywhere. And even the appearance of the same actors in both parts only confirms that if in one parallel dimension you were a bully, then in the other you can easily be a guard.

The house, filled with demonic forces, lives its own life, he decides for himself when to start a disabled elevator or let the phone work in one apartment. All for the sake of even more victims - from the claws of the infernal creatures - or as a result of a car accident. And no one knows whether the survivors will find themselves completely alone in this world, whether the monsters predicted by Nostradamus are walking on the earth? Let the end look more like a happy ending - but in real horrors they do not exist.

But still, in some ways this film does not reach the first part - maybe this very hint of a happy ending? While the first one can easily be said - everything is just beginning
