Leaving mountains of bodies behind him, John Wick continues to hide from all sorts of assassins, and now a young and ambitious Board member named Marquis is leading the hunt for him. The two managers of the Continental Hotels in New York and Osaka, who decided to help the wayward assassin out of an old friendship, have already paid a heavy price for it, but suddenly John discovers a way out of this seemingly hopeless situation.

'John Wick 4' is a vivid dramatic sequel whose final denouement will leave many viewers bewildered or even shocked.

At first it seemed that the three-hour running time would quickly tire you out, but a rare thing happened here. The first half of the film, despite the abundance of violence, is nothing special. The action looks like an echo from the past, where we've seen it all before and more than once in previous installments. But the second half will please even the most sophisticated movie buffs and fans of spectacular spectacle. The German block apart from the catchy dynamic music in a nightclub impresses with a typical antagonist, who was obviously inspired by the image of a villain nicknamed Jaw from 'James Bond'. Huge and unkillable bully with gold teeth, despite his size, dashingly gives the main character the strongest kicking from the U-turn and tosses, like a puppy in different directions. Fights with such a villain look very interesting. And as for the French block, it's a real ballet with guns in hand, showing a whole new level of exciting action. Here you have cool shootouts on the road with cars rushing around, and awesome hand-to-hand combat choreography on a long ladder. What impressed me the most, though, was the scene in the ruined building, where the camera was perpendicular to the scene being shot (the 'God Look' device), creating the effect of a computer game. The viewer watches from above as the hero goes from room to room, killing everyone in a row with unusual weapons, where the villains don't just die from bullet wounds, but are painfully burned to death.

There are also many profound statements and philosophical reflections on life, death, friendship and love. And the final part, filled with drama and visual beauty, will definitely impress fans of the story.

All in all, the film can truly be considered the best part of the entire franchise after the first film. And we are waiting for the sequels, including both full-length and series spin-offs, expanding the amazing John Wick movie universe.
