Four years after the outbreak of a terrible virus, the spread of which South Korea could not contain, what remains of the country is under blockade, and hordes of zombies are roaming the peninsula. For your attention I present the sequel to the film 'Train to Busan' - 'Train to Busan 2: Peninsula'. Honestly, there is no connection with the first film at all. The only thing they have in common is that the action takes place in one universe, and there are also many zombies there and there.

While waiting for this film, I wanted to see the film at the level of the first part or better. But it didn't work out.

On the front lines, the character John Sok is a military man. As we can see at the beginning of the film, he is taking his sister with her family to a ship for transportation to another country. Zombie apocalypse if only in Korea. The main characters are also the Korean family. Grandpa Kim, mother Min Young and two daughters Yu Jin, Jin Ye. But in the end they are not accepted into any country, and are brought to Hong Kong, where they are considered simply refugees.

The whole plot of the film is that John Sok and his companions will need to go to Busan to find $ 20 million there and take them to some local bandits, because they are considered refugees in Hong Kong and for this they will be given per person 2 , 5 million dollars, so that they could live in peace.

As you can imagine, the movie has some logic problems. Why go it is not clear where? Where is everything teeming with zombies? Even if you succeed in doing everything, then where is the probability that they will give you those millions? And there are a lot of such strange moments where you want to ask the director - 'Why so?', 'I mean?', 'Where is the logic?'.

There are no questions about the performance of these actors, I was quite interested. Good level, nobody really stood out. You can watch.

Well, about the graphics here I would like to say that it is so-so. Not realistic. It is clear that the entire city with hundreds of thousands of zombies is not easy to recreate. But it looks weak in 2020.

I didn’t like the races in this film, as it was very boring to watch, especially at the end. But this is far from the most important thing, I just spoke about it!

I'm not saying that this is a completely disastrous film, that everything is bad here.

Not a bad game of actors, sometimes it was even very interesting to watch what was happening on the screen, the atmosphere of the zombie apocalypse was well conveyed, well, the average production of the film.

Summing up, I will say that a film for its genre is a zombie. It turned out to be quite edible, you can watch it. Far from being the worst, but everyone had a lot more expectation. I wanted to get a complete, interesting, realistic story. All the same, the budget allowed, twice as much as in the first part. But it didn't work out very well. For fans of the zombie-like genre, I can advise you to familiarize yourself with the film, for the sake of interest. Others, as you wish, but in this genre there are representatives and better.
