As a child, I was madly in love with the first film, Another World, and watched it on videotape many times. I was waiting for the continuation with anticipation, and once I watched with pleasure this second part. Many years later, I revisited this fantastic story again, and it was the first and second films that were the most successful.

The idea behind the secret war of werewolves and vampires is awesome, and the story of the Otherworld is really cool. The first film was a sensation and has a huge fan base all over the world. The very same heroine Celine is an inspiring and beautiful character of the war vampire woman. Personally, I really love her.

The second film, titled "Evolution," is a powerful, fantastic, vampire movie that can only be blamed too much for the gloominess of his nature. The movie is scary and cold, eerie and explosive. This part is just one successful continuation. All other films: 3,4 and 5 are disappointing. No one argues that their idea is brilliant, but they failed to realize it, and all subsequent pictures are dubious.

In the same story, we see the heroes Celine and Michael approaching the discovery of their origins. Vampire and half-werewolf - half-vampire fight with everyone, but the main threat is in the person of the powerful and cruel Marcus (a very ancient vampire). A vampire story of a bloody meat grinder in which a terrible war is going on ...

In fact, this vampire movie is mega atmospheric. It is so cold, ominous, it gives goosebumps, and there is still fear and something extremely gloomy in the air. The film itself was shot with high quality, and it was felt when watching, and it pleases the eye. The special effects are great, and we only praise them in this part, because in the following pictures 3, 4 and 5 they will be terribly lame.

Kate Beckinsale perfectly plays her Celine and her vampire on the list of the coolest and most loved characters in vampire stories. She is the face of the Other World, and it is impossible to tear yourself away from her. Since the movie is creepy and dark, and the actors were chosen exactly the same. Scott Speedman plays Michael again, and you are incredibly worried about their duo.

Tony Curran plays Marcus, and his villain is terribly scary and intimidating. It is him that you remember when thinking about this film. A very good choice for an actor. Derek Jacoby plays an important role here, but his character was not revealed, but it was possible to expand the hero. Most people associate Stephen Macintosh with this film. The star of the creepy film "Baby" with Elizabeth Shue - Macintosh looks perfect in this part.

The vampire blockbuster turned out to be more than interesting, and personally I like it. When I read critical notes about him from critics, I am always amazed. This movie is interesting and “good” for its genre. It is on this part that all good and good things end in the other world. Further there will be something of a level below.
