Story Movie

This story took place at the dawn of civilization in ancient Egypt. The rushing and majestic Nile carried a baby basket to the shore in front of Pharaoh's palace. The mighty ruler adopted the tiny boy and gave him the name Moses.

The years passed... Moses and his brother Ramses grew up together. But the day would come when one of the brothers would become the ruler of the greatest empire on earth, and the other would become a saint... The confrontation between the heroes would change their destinies and human history forever.

A beautiful cartoon with great music and good animation. As a person interested in Ancient Egypt, I liked the atmosphere of the New Kingdom era recreated by the animators. Despite the 'creative liberties' mentioned in the preface, and, frankly speaking, obvious historical bloopers (for example, the construction of the Sphinx was missed by more than 1000 years), the creators managed to adequately convey the plot of the Biblical story. The canons of mural paintings, temple architecture and colossal sculptures are unmistakably embodied. You can see that before creating the picture was consulted with experts in the art of ancient Egypt.

The cartoon is beautifully drawn. I was especially delighted by the delightful rendering of such complex textures as splashes of water, sandstorms, the Nile bathed in blood...

The great merit of the film is that it is aimed at a wide audience, and will be of interest to both children and adults.
