Ah, Advent Children! How many tense and blissful minutes you gave me! This is not just an animated film (I don’t dare call this creation a cartoon), it’s something more.

Many believe that the speakers do not have a plot and a little logic, calling the creation of Square Enix only a masterpiece of graphics. Now, this is not entirely true. Indeed, if you have not played in the seventh finale, then certain episodes will become strange and incomprehensible to you. But, if you dig a little on the Internet, it will not be difficult to find answers to all your questions. There are really not so many dialogues, but this is how their 'stupidity' manifests itself, as many believe, I do not understand. The AU, in principle, did not pretend to be a philosophical film, so I think this opinion is wrong.
With regards to the plot, I cannot fail to mention the following. He is there. And not as simple as many people think.

There is a large number of underpinnings, past which the unlit mind will pass by, but, I repeat, if you want to understand everything in detail, the speakers will open up in a completely new way. Cloud's internal struggle can leave few people indifferent. He deliberately fenced himself off from his friends and only at the very end forgave himself. Of the plot moves, I will especially note the ending.

Everyone who has watched excitedly speaks about the AU schedule, I will join them. The spirits among us are far behind us in terms of the faces and movements of the characters, and in many other things. And what the water and clothes of the main characters turned out to be for the animators ... they depicted the very texture of the fabric, this is already the height of reality. Of course, Cloud is the most detailed, and also, oddly enough, the Turks. Reno and Reed are joking in their own style, especially the trademark red-haired grin.

And Cloud's face is generally a masterpiece of masterpieces: from sadness and grief at the beginning, to rage and those big eyes wide open in surprise when he saw Iris and Zach ... His hairstyle is a separate word. In the seventh finale, it was poorly imagined how it would look in reality, but many years after the release of the game in the AU, the answer to the question was received: very beautiful and quite real! By the way, from the point of view of commercial success, it is the seventh finale that is considered the most successful: AC and many games based on it are proof of this.

I will separately note the music. As a fan of anime music, I was completely delighted with what I heard. Everywhere it is in place, it expresses the atmosphere of a specific situation, helping to feel this or that episode, there is absolutely no desire to turn off the sound, as it happened when watching some other things. Nobu Uematsu wrote many tracks for the AU, of which I can single out those that sound during races in the wasteland, meetings with Rufus Shinra, the Iris theme, black and just water, the appearance of a one-winged angel and the final in the church. The soundtrack came out on two discs, which I successfully purchased.

In general, as anyone, but I really liked this work called Children of the Advent. In 2009, a re-release of the AU will be released with a half-hour addition of the originally cut fragments. Fans, don't miss it!
