Review 4K Movie

A few weeks ago, I asked my piano teacher, who is only 10 years older than me, how she feels about one of my favorite films, Pirates of the Caribbean. To my surprise, she replied, “I never looked. And what, he deserves all the praise that I have heard in his address? " I thought about the answer for a few seconds, and then simply said: "Pirates of the Caribbean is a classic."

Yes, I am not afraid of this word, this is a classic. This film, despite the fact that it was born relatively recently, has already entered the golden fund of world cinema. And not only because he revived the genre of pirate cinema, but also because since the inception of cinema, no viewer has seen anything like it.

Pirates of the Caribbean has absolutely everything that an adventure film can boast of: the adventure itself, intrigue, captivating plot, scale, entertainment, romance, fierce battles, chases, humor, beautiful landscapes and breathtaking music.

Gore Verbinski has created an amazing world that every boy dreams of, although he did not leave indifferent girls either. After all, the life of a pirate is, first of all, freedom, but is there a person whom she does not seduce?

But this film would not be half as good without the genius Johnny Depp. In her comments on the film, 18-year-old Keira Knightley said: "He's constantly pulling the covers over himself!" BUT this is quite natural, because this is his blanket! He is the center of the film, the highlight, he is the key to the audience's hearts. His inimitable facial expressions, demeanor, gestures, gait create such an integral and vivid image that he simply cannot but sink into memory. Johnny Depp plays this strange pirate in such a natural way that it begins to seem like he was Jack Sparrow in a past life. Still, after all, he himself sculpted his hero, thought out his image to the last bead in his hair.

Of course, the rest of the cast pales in comparison to Depp. Only Geoffrey Rush and his Barbossa, a pirate of a completely different temper, can compete with him. He is a classic corsair, not for nothing that his name is consonant with the names of two world famous pirates - with the names of the red-bearded brothers Barborossa I and Barborossa II. If Dppa's trump card is eccentricity, then Rush's trump card is charisma.

But when I say that the rest of the actors are less impressive than Depp, I in no way mean that they did not cope with their roles.

Orlando Bloom plays at an intermediate level, but his good looks help him, so William Turnet is quite convincing.

Keira Knightley is my favorite actress. But I only like her game in the first part of the pirate trilogy. In the first film, she is good, although I do not sympathize with her heroine.

The supporting roles were performed with great skill, especially Commander Norington and the pirate crew.

I want to note that in the first part, the work of the scriptwriters is done best of all, since there is no tension or artificiality in the plot. I also cannot help but remember the excellent dubbing, which the Russian audience is rarely pampered with.

I would not be surprised if in 30 years a remake of this film is removed, and I will convince my grandchildren that the old version is much better and Johnny Depp is the only possible Jack Sparrow.

This is one of those films that you watch over and over, over and over again. And when once again I close the shabby box with a disk almost worn to holes, I go to the kitchen with the gait of a drunk fashion model, involuntarily imitating the main character, and, pouring myself some coffee, I hum: "So let's drink a glass, yo-ho!"
