Story Movie

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 4K 2011 Ultra HD 2160p
In a new story about the search for truth, betrayal, eternal youth and mortal danger, Captain Jack Sparrow has to face a woman from his past, Angelica. Until the very end, it will not be clear whether their true love connects, or whether Angelica skillfully pretends to get to the mysterious source of eternal youth with Jack.

She forces Captain Jack Sparrow to board the ship Queen Anne's Revenge, which is controlled by the insidious villain Blackbeard. Our hero finds himself in a situation where he does not know what he should be more afraid of - a terrible villain or his old girlfriend.

Review 4K Movie

I went to the cinema, to be honest, without much hope, although I liked the trailer, but the reviews of film critics were not comforting. Well, I thought: 'critics are often wrong too', and with a pure soul I went to a new part of the saga of the brave pirates. Of course, there were expectations, what can be cunning ... but I expected to see a film in the spirit of the first part, albeit with a different atmosphere, but with the same enthusiasm, the same sparkling and subtle, with the same interesting plot twists. What did I end up with?

I will immediately express everything that I did not like, briefly and clearly.

The plot is rather weak, it is felt that it is somehow far-fetched, everything is set up, much, much is simply not logical. Dialogues have become completely uninteresting, and they almost always tell us about nothing. The motivation of many heroes is not clear to me, it is not clear, not convincing, or rather, for all the heroes, except for Barbossa, everything is clear and clear with him. Everything on the screen is not dynamic, one might even say sluggish and boring, with the possible exception of the ending, but something was also missing there, apparently the budget of the tape cut by a third by the studio affected. Several episodes were, as they say, just off topic, which was even slightly annoying. There was too much music, and often also off topic. There were enough stupid phrases and not very funny jokes.

Now specifically for the characters. Barbossa - no questions, everything is as always clear and convincing, everything is on topic, and the jokes turned out to be the most interesting for this character. Blackbeard - boring, sluggish, lacking rigidity, pressure, logic in actions is also often absent. Angelica - it seems to be normal, but it also seems to be somehow wrong, but in general I will attribute it to the pluses of the film, although this heroine's motivation for actions is also sometimes not clear. Boy priest and mermaid - just for presence. Gibbs - everything is fine, it's joyful to see just a familiar face from the first trilogy, he became more cunning, and in general began to play a slightly larger role, so to speak, a little 'climbed out' to the fore. Scrum or Scrum, I don't remember exactly - excellent. And I still sat and remembered what a familiar face ... it turned out - this is the same actor who played Tommy from 'Big Jack'. The rest: zombies - nonsense, the British - turned out to be idiots, the Spaniards - also turned out delusional, mermaids - turned out well, only the evil ones hurt.

And finally, Captain Jack Sparrow. Well, excuse me, fans, but I'm tired, just tired, boring, everything is the same, nothing new, no interesting ideas, I joked a lot off topic, the logic of actions is generally minimal, come on, logic is there ... but by and large it’s more simple for him do not believe. In this part, the previously solid character began to simply fall apart. And this is not because of Depp, but because of the weak script.

It should also be noted that there was not a single naval battle. Battles on land (on swords) were not interesting, not dynamic, with obliques on the first part, but it turned out so-so. And in general, of course, it is clear that the budget was limited quite severely. But all this is trifles, compared with a really weak script.
