A talented person is talented in everything. In this case, the well-known aphorism is immediately about the quartet - about the Liverpool Four, the legends of world music and culture, the authors of the world-famous 'Yesterday', 'A Day In The Life', 'Eleanor Rigby', etc., about bugs. Briefly, about The Beatles.

And the film itself is about The Beatles at the beginning of their legendary career. Nothing extra. With a share of artistry and windiness, a simple day in the life of the group was demonstrated, where they are still yesterday's schoolchildren, they want to have fun, and young fans are thirsty, if not tear them to pieces (out of love, of course), then at least squeal from the heart, deafening British streets. When will this be available again? After all, very soon a new chapter of life will open before the matured Beatles, where there is no place for carefree fun ... But that's another story.

'A Hard Day's Evening' is already pleased with the fact that it does not show us something out of the ordinary. For its production, it was as if the musicians were simply 'pulled out' of the busy work schedule for filming and told - 'Do everything as usual'. It was this period, perhaps, that turned out to be the most favorable for filming, when no one had quarreled with anyone yet, no one relied on leadership in the group, no one was spoiled by anything: from fame to drugs. The friendly atmosphere entailed the main trump card of the picture - its authenticity. Musicians didn't have to become actors just to play themselves. But 'A Hard Day's Evening' isn't focused on John, George, Paul and Ringo. Of the other characters, of course, Paul McCartney's grandfather deserves special attention, as a small offshoot from the central part of the plot. I think it was the director's best decision. Grandfather with his openness maintains an atmosphere of lightness and comedy, without him the film is hard to imagine.

The comedic features of the film leave a pleasant impression. There is no stupid, vulgar and absurd humor here. Each of the four jokes with each other without malice, purely for fun. Nobody insults or humiliates anyone. Heroes amuse the viewer without blackness. It's nice to be talking here.

The soundtrack couldn't be bad in fact. How can a Beatles movie not have good music?! Their early hits reverberated throughout the film as yet another epitome of simplicity. As every fan of the band knows, the history of the four is broken sometime in 1967 with the release of the 'Revolver' album. But before him, their albums were full of boyish songs written under the influence of Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley (She Loves You, Can't By Me Love and others). They sound in the movie, in the best quality. Sometimes, so to speak, off topic, but it is not so necessary to pay attention to such a factor.

The film does not require a clear and intricate plot. The film does not require high-precision acting work. It may not be the best comedy of all time, but it fell into the mainstream in terms of time and period in the life of the group. 'A Hard Day's Evening' pleases with everything for which it was filmed. A good movie to watch after a hard day, after an easy, empty day - it doesn't matter.
