Because in addition to the stunning beauty of the nature of our Earth, we are witnessing fights and races, at stake is life - or the real one, not in the script prescribed, after which the actors go to drink coffee, death. And this is removed, I repeat, with unattainable skill, the ability to drag the spectator into the very middle of what is happening and give full experience of the frantic tension of a fight or chase.

The words are powerless here - how to convey the feeling you are experiencing, looking into the depths of the pupil of the rescued newborn marine iguana five minutes from the family - five minutes gone to a desperate escape from the dregs of a sand ditty swarming with two-meter snakes? And this impassive workshop is highlighted by a voice in which many of us grew up in black and white TVs, the voice-legend of Nikolai Nikolaevich Drozdov.

I was fortunate to be present at the premiere of the film and to hear the surprisingly lively and energetic performance of this 81-year-old ascetic.
