Review 4K Movie
I managed to be born on April 12 on Cosmonautics Day. Therefore, since childhood I dreamed about the stars and dreamed of being like Yuri Gagarin. Health, however, did not allow us to conquer the universe, so I want to thank the creators of this film for giving me the opportunity to go on a small and exciting space journey. The film was released back in 2002, but I managed to watch it only in 2015, in connection with the recent opening of the aimax movie theater in our country.
Space Station UltraHD - a very good movie. The visual range and sound are beyond praise. Tom Cruise in the original soundtrack tells interesting and fascinating in a simple language that is understandable even burnt humanities. In addition to technical issues, the film also touches on important social aspects of our life: close cooperation and friendship of peoples, the place of people on our fragile planet, regardless of nationality and borders of states. It was nice to see how the thirst to know the universe unites so many countries of the world. Looking at what is happening on the screen, you forget that earthlings are distinguished from each other by many things (faith, skin color, belonging to any state, etc.). We are all neighbors and should be friends.
Operator James Neuhaus deserves special mention, who, after exhausting training, went on a dangerous and harsh journey into Earth orbit to shoot the first 3D film in space. Bravo! Astronauts, who in weightlessness harmoniously carry out their work, also deserve respect.
I probably will not soon stop praising the coolness of IMAX 3D. What is happening on the screen looks incredibly beautiful, and the effect of presence is difficult to convey in words. This must be seen firsthand. It is also encouraging that the creators of modern documentaries every year more and more hone their skills. I sincerely hope that with current technologies documentaries will reach a new level and will be screened in movie theaters at least as many as multi-million blockbusters.
