This movie made the strongest impression on me and became one of my favorites. Everything in this movie is very tender, fragile and insanely charming.

Jeffrey Wright played Basquiat just amazingly, and all the actors in the movie played 100% one Andy Warhol played by David Bowie is worth.

Basquiat is a charming, vulnerable guy who is in his thoughts most of the time, and the rest of the time under the influence of illegal drugs, which, oddly enough, makes him even more vulnerable and charming.

When you look at the process of creating Basquiat's canvases, he doesn't seem to put much meaning into them, but if you listen to what he has to say. For example, that there are more bad people than good, that beauty is not perceived as beauty, but as a way to make money, etc. You can understand that Basquiat is another extraordinary person who saw the world in a completely different way...As I think, no one has ever understood this guy to the end.

As for the technical part of the movie, you have to give credit to Ejulian Schnabel and all those who worked on the movie, because they got everything 100%.

I will not recommend to watch this movie because it is something very personal, this movie is only for those who are ready to feel.
