I accidentally found out that Another World 4 is coming out soon! Before that, I was aware that the third episode was shot, and I was not particularly attracted to it, mainly due to the fact that there is no Kate Beckinsale, whom I loved from the first two films. Well, before going to the movies, I decided to watch the previous part, which turned out to be a prequel to the original. All this vampire Middle Ages looked rather unusual, but quite curious! I cannot say that I experienced any delight from the picture, it did not evoke any exciting feelings in me, and the "torn" action scenes did not look particularly impressive, but in general the movie is not bad, you can watch it once. Rhona Mitra, whose external resemblance to Kate is very obvious, acted as a kind of substitute for the charming vampire Celine from previous films. She looked pretty pretty and confident, but, in my opinion, she still came out with a rather rustic image, especially in touching moments, her actions and emotions did not captivate me much and touched my soul. I would say that she lacked the "sparkle in her eyes", a kind of zest, thanks to which the heroine would stand out in some way. Actually, after the not entirely interesting third part, I had high hopes for the fourth! So what did I get ?!

In my opinion, Underworld: Awakening is absolutely superior to the previous part! There is no limit to my admiration and positively charged mood from viewing! The very awakening and return of Kate Beckinsale to the image of a fearless beauty with sharp teeth was as big and spectacular as possible! From the very first minutes of the film, the viewer will not get bored with constant escapes, fights, shootings, a bunch of adrenaline and crazy driving moments. At first it even strained me a little, because there was a feeling that the revived Celine would not say a single phrase for the entire film, but would only run away, jump across floors, shoot and bite. And in general, such an unexpected and mega-charging action from the very introduction of the picture discouraged my brain a little, but not for long. Of course, people go to such films primarily for the sake of spectacle and beautiful stunning special effects, but at the same time, an excessive passion for showdowns, running around and explosions with endless destruction can turn a picture into a meaningless set of chaotic and similar spectacular scenes where it is not clear what is happening, and who is fighting for what in general? So, in "Awakening", in my opinion, an even balance of one and the other is perfectly observed: the dialogues of the characters are interesting and do not let you get bored, there is no idle chatter, and the action episodes do not get boring and every time they are forced in a new way with trepidation and beating your heart into the screen with your jaw falling out of delight!

As before, the whole picture is shot in a gloomy Gothic style with a predominance of black and blue colors. I watched the movie in 3D, and did not see any impressive three-dimensional effects in it, just a very high quality, exquisite and clear image, as well as dangerous raw scenery. Although the film was filmed in dark colors, the picture is very juicy and rich! Therefore, I think, even without 3D, you can get great pleasure from viewing! The visual range is pleasing to the eye, there is absolutely nothing to complain about! The action-packed scenes are demonstrated at a very high level, as realistic, brutal, tough as possible, which allows you to consider all the bloody naturalistic moments of the confrontation between the two clans! All actions of the characters in fast-paced charged episodes are clearly and clearly visible, and in general it was always clear what was happening in the frame and who was there! I remember that in the third part, one of the main disadvantages was that in all action scenes the camera was shaking wildly, and it was difficult to make out what was happening on the screen.

The transformations of people into monsters and monsters into people themselves also look very realistic, spectacular and, of course, creepy. It can not but rejoice that vile werewolves will appear on the screen quite often and in all their glory, so there will be plenty of opportunities to look at them more closely and get nervous from aggressive violent attacks! All the bloody massacres and intense battles are portrayed magnificently, very relishing, tough and visually authentic and shocking! The camera captures any juicy details of battles, blows with melee weapons, destruction of scenery, explosions, etc., as well as the cries and emotions of the heroes! The musical accompaniment brilliantly creates a militant, cold and supernatural atmosphere of the film, helps to fully experience the predatory and oppressive spirit of life of otherworldly creatures of a huge metropolis, its endless dark cellars and nooks where wild creatures are hiding.

I would like to say a few words about the performer of the main role and the main decoration of this film! Kate Beckisneil looks amazing in the frame, and I am extremely glad that she was returned to the film. You can admire the sexy and obstinate vampire forever! Dangerous, graceful, unshakable, persistent and calculating, but for all her visual cruelty, she retains warm emotional feelings inside herself. This will be especially evident at the moment when the heroine finds out that she has a hybrid daughter, and she will try with all her might to protect her from enemies, which will give the film a certain amount of drama, and this was demonstrated very well and nicely, in my opinion!

What does the main character do in the frame, and wherever she flies and jumps! Her every gesture, her elegant cat gait, dizzying tricks, graceful movements draw into the screen. The image of a dark panther, sneaking into the night and punishing enemies, envelops the mind and senses! In addition to the fact that the beauty wrapped in latex will beat the villains and animals that get in the way, there are many really energetic moments in the film, where the fearless warrior will have to work hard, overcoming the pain and gathering her last strength into a fist to cope with her opponents. Those scenes in which werewolves attack Celine so that her body literally flew from blows in different directions, destroying everything around me, I watched with a sinking heart and strong tension inside! But there are many such episodes, but the bulletproof vampire will rise again and again after the attacks suffered and, flying over the abandoned ruins and broken walls, will continue to further clear her way to the goal! By the way, the final stunning battle turned out to be incredibly entertaining, intense, large-scale and simply grandiose! Everything is exactly as it should be in a dynamic scary action!
