After watching the movie, I went out into the street, and my head was empty, only the images from the movie were spinning in my head. On so much, he impressed me! Almost all the components of the film were honed and adjusted to the smallest detail. But of course the director left the main surprise for last. The end of the film is so enchanting and unpredictable that after watching you realize that you have so many questions left and you want to get answers.

But not all questions you get answers. And I liked this component the most. So you came out of the cinema and you go home, for example, and everyone thinks about the questions that are spinning and spinning in your head. You so want to know how everything really is. And suddenly you realize that you need to go again, because you so want to know the truth. And besides, going to the cinema in the second, you will be able to watch the movie from the other side, and suddenly there is a completely different meaning behind the various dialogues ...

He's like wine, every year it only gets better. Scorsese stunningly conveyed the atmosphere of the island where our main character was located. There is no peace in his soul, just like on the island. He seems to create an analogy between the mental state of the hero and his environment (sea, wind, etc.). And of course, the dreams of Tedi Daniels deserve special attention. It's just a find. His fears, the pain of anxiety, everything that he has in his subconsciousness pours out into dreams that are so mystical and inexplicable, and sometimes there were places that were terrible.

Camera work just on top. The film itself is not very dynamic, but the work of the operator and the director will not let us get bored.

The soundtrack is great, of course. In places where you need to designate tension moments or turn around to relax the viewer, the composer worked just fine.
