Story Movie

Schoolgirl A-ko is an ordinary girl... if you forget that her power destroys half the city with every step she takes. Her feud with the wealthy B-ko, who builds combat robots out of personal hatred, and absurd alien encounters turn a quiet school into an arena for epic chaos. A light, cheeky, and unabashedly parodic anime action film that thrives on visual action and 80s nostalgia — not a masterpiece, but very memorable.

Review 4K Movie

Caught by chance, this film surprises not by trying to be a serious anime, but by playing an arcade action movie with frankness and humor. There are no deep philosophical themes here, but there is a schoolgirl A-ko, who is basically a mobile supershot: wherever she comes, there is destruction, clashes and wild action.

The plot is simple to the point of impossibility: rich and obsessed Bi-ko, her nerd friend Ci-ko and A-ko, whose power scares everyone, clash in absurd conflicts where robots and superhero costumes become commonplace. All of this is still accompanied by an alien plot that, frankly, feels more like a set piece than the main action.

The animation looks lively and dynamic, especially the fight scenes - everything is flying, breaking and flashing here. The humor is naive, but in some places very accurate, especially if you're familiar with the anime classics of the 80s. References to other series and manga work as a signal to fans, not as an empty husk.

There are plenty of minuses too: the second half is a bit drawn out, the ending is predictable, politics and social themes have nothing to do with it. But that's not the purpose of the movie - it just wants to entertain, to show how two schoolgirls can make everything hell for the sake of a couple of senseless quarrels.

Conclusion: it's not a masterpiece, but it's a very honest and energetic anime action movie. If you watch it with low expectations and the desire to just relax, Project A-ko will leave a good impression. In the 4K version, the colors and detail are especially good - the picture really looks lively and vivid.
