Dalton is a legendary bouncer who comes to Jasper, Missouri, to restore order to the unsafe Two Deuce Bar.

As he rids the bar of thugs, hoodlums, and assassins, the wrath of their employer, the infamous racketeer Brad Wesley, grows stronger. The town lives in fear of Wesley, but Dalton is ready to act.

1989... The height of the production of various action films, action movies, fight scenes, and altercations. The main consumer of this increasingly popular genre is, as it is easy to assume, the young spectator who is susceptible, watching with enthusiasm and fire in his eyes, how one guy scatters a whole horde of bandits around and then utters after the escaping leader admonishing words like: 'Now go, earn money and live quietly and peacefully, or else...'. Needless to say, the idols of young people, the ideals in their still-forming minds, were the heroes of action movies: strong, brave, fair and courageous heroes...

So, 'Road House' is a seemingly ordinary, most ordinary representative of action movies of the late 80's/early 90's, with its showdown, fights and confrontations of evil and brazen guys with fair and kind ones. This picture tells the viewer about a legend in the circles of regulars in bars, about a bouncer, James Dalton (Patrick Swayze), who puts moral and spiritual values above all and tries to sort things out without fists, which they say, without further losses on the side of the opponent. One day his old friend invites him to a particularly fun place, a bar that is synonymous with 'disorder' and 'chaos'. It's about to get even more fun when Dalton arrives!

This movie has also inspired me more than once for heroic deeds and heroism - I remember watching the brilliant performance of Patrick as James, he plays with huge musclemen, scattering them in the bar without any difficulties, I am inspired by the impressive, simply grandiose finale - the epilogue of the film, and I want to repeat everything that my favorite actor showed on the screen... I still remember those happy and bright times, I feel a little sad and happy again that I can watch this movie I've loved since childhood.

Well, this picture is not so simple, as it seems at first sight - it is both informative and topical, logical but unpredictable, has many fights, funny moments and a great number of advantages which obviously may please and surprise you. All in all, a very, very atmospheric, realistic, vivid and attractive film that you would be remiss not to watch once, if you are a true film buff.

And now, after the loss of your favorite actor, there's a lot to think about, think about, and, of course, an indescribable sadness that you can't go back, that time can't be turned back. Can we say that apart from Patrick's films we have nothing left? Probably not, because we will always remember him as a Man, we will fondly remember his sensitivity, cordiality and desire to help people, we will always remember his look - kind and attentive, his smile and expression, which are characteristic of a truly happy man. May Patrick's name be glorious, and may his ashes rest in peace! Forever loved, never forgotten and appreciated!
