The Expendables 4K 2010 Ultra HD 2160p
A squad of professional mercenaries and desperate guys led by Barney Ross is given a difficult task - to find and destroy at any cost a bloody tyrant dictator, spreading fear among the civilian population and wreaking havoc in a South American country.

Setting out on a difficult mission, hardened by fire and water, who have been through more than one war, Ross's men find themselves in the thick of it. From now on they will have to survive: to unite and achieve the goal, or despair and die. And yet these brave, truly imperturbable guys are ready to realize even unrealizable. But not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance....

Review 4K Movie

Oh yeah, Stallone did everything we expected him to do! By making the movie of his and our dreams, he saves this movie summer from being a failure. 110 minutes of absolutely reckless, uncompromising, hurricane and just plain fun action. The Unstoppable team takes full advantage of the brutal ratings and slashes people with knives, shoots them with pistols and tears them to pieces with rifles and shotguns. And that's in the PG-13 era.

A real movie army of Stallone, Rourke, Statham, Jet Li, Lundgren, Roberts, Daniels, Couture, Austin, Crews, supported by powerful artillery from Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger tears to shreds any mention of other teams and other losers. The Unstoppables chat and banter with each other like real friends. And it's really funny. And if they're reminiscing, you believe their stories. You believe that 20 years ago Rourke and Stallone fought together in some third world country and had no hope of surviving. And thunder if a lot of what the characters said didn't apply to their personal lives. And on the part of Stallone himself and on the part of Lundgren and Rourke. The latter's heartfelt dialog is a worthy continuation of his line from The Wrestler.

The movie successfully combines all the developments of the era of video salons, embellishing them with modern standards of filming. When the frame is a real old-school, sorry, crushing, and at the same time the camera behaves like a modern teenager, following the fashion trends, you realize that there is no better balance. All the best of the past in the wrapper of the best of the present. And somehow it is completely indifferent that, say, the fire is badly drawn. The number of original finds for the use of weapons goes beyond all reasonable limits. And, it would seem, pull the trigger and pull the pin. But "Unstoppable" set a very high bar at the stage of announcing the cast and jumped over it worthily during the movie. And what kind of fights there are can't be conveyed in words. Only a stream of incoherent emotions. The realization that in some century the movie lives up to all your expectations, can't help but make you happy.

Only one legendary scene with Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Willis is as cool as half of this year's movies. As promised, this episode was an homage to the confrontation between Sly and Schwartz during their action youth. Just a few phrases from these legends put the audience into a state of ecstasy. For the entire 3 minutes (how small is that!) the audience applauded and laughed non-stop. And I feel that behind this roar of satisfied fans we listened to something else. And this something, I think, would have led to mass attacks of happiness, and some of them would have had to drink valerian. As they say, that's something I'll be telling my children and grandchildren. And frankly, I still can't believe I saw it.

And I feel damn sorry for those who, for whatever reason, were dissatisfied with the movie. If you're not suffering from nostalgia, this movie is not for you. Yes, yes, of course, but it's all bullshit. In addition to the fact that during the viewing of some people's youth flies in front of their eyes, others have all their childhood, you also have time to enjoy a perfect modern action movie, which should be an example for many directors who want to get involved in this genre. This is something we haven't seen in a very long time. And we probably won't see it until the sequel comes out. Because it's not clear how you can make something better.
