Released after another stint in prison, Tonny discovers he has a child. He is desperate to improve his position and his image as a loser. He wants to win the respect of his father, the most vicious gangster in Copenhagen, to whom he owes a large sum of money. But no matter how hard Tonny tries, his impenetrable stupidity only makes things worse.

As we learn more information about Nicolas Winding Refn, it gets more and more interesting. This is definitely an unconventional director who has made movies like this.

The all-canon-shaking “Pusher” was followed by two films that turned out to be very heavy. All this brought Refn to the threshold of bankruptcy.

Then he decided to just stop, and start again. Back to the roots, so to speak. And that's how “Pusher 2” came out.

The director's favorite actor Mads Mikkelsen is back. And this movie, along with “Valhalla Rising”, is dedicated to this actor.

True, it turned out to be very logical from the point of view of the plot. Tonny is back to rock. Only he didn't succeed, as always.

There are a couple of references to the first movie. Frank seems to be alive. I'd like to think so. And Milo's still doing his thing. And it's not over for him yet. And the main reference to the events of eight years ago is the scar on Tonny's head. That's the kind of mark a bat usually leaves. My uncle has one just like it.

The movie was a little different than the first one. There's no frantic chase and no endless violence. But that doesn't mean anything. It shows ordinary life in its more everyday manifestation.

Scenes with the hero's hopeless attempts to get his organ to act. Scenes with the child. The scene with the awakening from sleep. It even reminded me a little of Balabanov.

But Refn lets his dark side out for a walk. Then comes the shooting, the fighting and the screwdriver stabs to the body. Hush, hush - the longer the screwdriver, the more dangerous it is. And a small one isn't very dangerous. But it can cause trouble. My uncle will attest to that.
