The future after an environmental disaster. As a result, water became a source of life in the truest sense of the word, as there was very little of it and not enough for everyone. And the corporation "Water-Energy-Power" controls everything. Renegades stole water and fought villains. Among the renegades was Rebecca, a witty, beautiful, and outgoing girl who always had a quick comeback. Her loved ones and friends were killed, and she herself was taken prisoner and forced to work in a mine. But that was not the end of it.

‘Tank Girl’... Wow. What else can I say—it's the best trash I've ever seen!

The plot is complete nonsense, but it's incredibly interesting. The charm of this film lies not in the plot, but in what happens on screen. Lori Petty literally carries the entire film. She undoubtedly succeeded in her role. And she wasn't the only one... The costume designers, set designers, etc. worked tirelessly. Thanks to them, the film looks extraordinary and original. The main character transforms and changes her clothes at least a hundred times! And how she and her friend decorated the tank... Unbelievable. And even though the “kangaroos” with rubber faces bothered my eyes, the film was still a success. The soundtrack was especially successful!
And the comic and cartoon inserts are incredibly well suited to the film. By the way, to people who raved about how original K. Tarantino was for inserting cartoons into “Kill Bill.” Let them choke on their greed—these people did it almost ten years earlier!

And it doesn't matter that the film doesn't meet the high cultural values of, so to speak, connoisseurs. It's a light comedy film that justifies its existence. It seems that they don't make films like this anymore. It's a pity.
