Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 4K 2016 Ultra HD 2160p
The search and study of extraordinary magical creatures brings the magozoologist Newt Scamander to New York. Most likely, he would have departed on the train further, if not for the "nemag" (as Muggles are called in America) by the name of Jacob, the magic suitcase left in the wrong place and the escape of Newt's fantastic animals from it.

Review 4K Movie

1920s. In Europe, the black magician Grindelwald is doing chaos, and a completely white magician-zoologist Newt Scamander comes to America, intending to buy new animals for his collection. He has a full suitcase of these animals (literally). And here the problems begin: those whom he was going to buy are forbidden to sell, and those who were already in Newt's suitcase run away. We'll have to catch them before they make a mess among the nonmages (that's what Uncle Sam's politically correct nephews call Muggles). The obscurantist Tina, her sister Queenie and the nemag Kowalski will help Newt in this useful business, and the mysterious magician-politician Percival Graves, who suspects one of Newt's beasts in the murder of the son of a nonmagov senator, will interfere ... And all this will be very cool: 1920s style rendered beautifully (the film deservedly received the Oscar for the costumes), the creatures are made with imagination (the sniffs familiar from the books are not yet the most interesting), and the actors play great. Eddie Redmayne played a magnificent eccentric scientist who is perfectly familiar with his beloved creatures, but does not get along well with people and did not even think of looking at the laws of the country he was going to enter. Dan Vogler has turned out to be a very charismatic nonmag Kowalski, a good friend and just a nice person. Singer Alison Sudol, who played the cheerful, romantic blonde Queenie, discovered her acting talent (before The Beasts, she only played in episodes of TV series). Colin Farrell portrayed a really dangerous politician - Graves in his performance from the first appearance shows that it is not worth dealing with him. Only Katherine Waterson was unlucky: she had to play openly dry, impassive Tina, who is easily lost against the background of other characters. There are no complaints about the actress, but the scriptwriter should be scolded. However, I don't really want to - this is his only mistake. And so he masterfully juggles the storylines of Newt, his friends, Graves, the orphan boy Credence, weaving them into a common plot that you want to follow without stopping.

But the masters of special effects should be scolded: the fantastic creatures are drawn beautifully, and a green screen creeps out through the scenery. Already in the first shot, where Newt's ship arrives in New York, it is clear that the backdrop with the Statue of Liberty is painted. And then no better: you can immediately see what the backgrounds were made on the computer. And it's probably not about the money - there were enough of them for the creatures - but about the artistic taste and the desire to show how large the budget of the film is. Only now it looks quite the opposite: with good money, the schedule, in theory, should be convincing, give realism to what is happening, and not exist for itself. Hopefully, over time, filmmakers will understand this.

But otherwise, I don't want to scold the film - the plot, costumes, actors, most of the heroes and the fantastic creatures themselves are pleasing to the eye. It also gave us a glimpse of the wizarding world of Harry Potter outside of Hogwarts! That means a lot too.
