Parallel to our world, there is another - a world ruled by extremely dangerous and incredibly powerful monsters. I want to start by saying that I'm a noble fan of the Resident Evil movie saga. I accepted all his dubious sequels and mockery of the plot dir. Paul W. S. Anderson right through to the final piece. I understood perfectly well that the meaning in films was becoming less and less, yielding everything to worthless 3D and action with an action movie. However, for myself, I also found something good in these films, admiring just a high-quality and beautiful picture, without taking into account the plot. Having announced the Great US Anderson this picture, and with the same irreplaceable Milla Jovovich, I did not expect 'something stunning', but still wanted to see something similar to the beloved 'Abode'. But even for me, as a fan of this genre, this film turned out to be too awkward. If 'Resident Evil: Retribution' was scolded for the tasteless lack of a plot with an abundance of meaningless action scenes, then this 'Monster Hunter' breaks all records in this hit parade. Such a secondary, senseless, absurd absence of a plot does not bother the director at all that he decides to shoot a completely empty movie so frankly, stuffing each scene with some senseless abundance of struggle. How interesting is the script written? Scene 1: fight, chase. Scene 2 - a little dialogue, again a fight and a fight. Is it all in a circle? It seems that the data for an hour and a half is one continuous scene, which was sometimes boring to watch, the abundance of stuffed 3D action scenes quickly gets boring, and there is nothing else to look at.

There is nothing how you can retell this work. Ch. the heroine simply fights with unknown monsters - without a background and no one knows where, with no one knows what character, who even speaks in a different dialect (incredible plot!). This picture is just some kind of game shooter, deprived of the plot and plot, just a chase and confrontation. It seemed to me that there are a lot of references to 'Resident Evil' - or just a repetition of the same type of scenes, from the lack of ideas of its creator. Even the melodies for the film are reminiscent of those in 'The Last Chapter' with the same composer Paul Haslinger.

The director of the picture repeats absolutely all mistakes, like his previous works. It's pointless, boring, stuffed with an unnecessary layer of action, the same thing happens in every scene. Too hopeless, even worse than the 'Abodes', I can't imagine where else you can fall below. However, the open ending says what will happen next ...
