Lilo is a little girl living in Hawaii. She is an orphan and lives with her older sister Nani. Lilo loves all animals, but most of all she befriends a dog named Stitch, who is not really a dog at all, but a disguised alien. The case was like this: a criminal named Stitch was being transported to an intergalactic prison, but he managed to slip away and land on Earth, where he met Lilo. Stitch disguised himself as a dog to escape the intergalactic police. Now Stitch learns what he was never taught - to care for others.

If Disney would make us happy with such drawings more often, children would grow up kind and smart. This is a story about a nasty creature, with a terrible character, bad habits, and many other negative signs of tseluloid humanoid society.

But once on a small paradise island, it falls into the life of a little girl who takes on the task of raising the blue critter.
