After reuniting with his long-lost father, Po travels to a secret paradise for pandas, where he meets many cheerful relatives. However, the villain Kai soon begins a purge, destroying kung fu masters throughout China. Po must do the impossible: teach martial arts to a village full of his cheerful, clumsy brothers and sisters, thereby turning them into a kung fu panda squad.

Initially, the series of films about Po the panda was supposed to consist of multiple episodes, but the franchise's creators decided to take a responsible approach and tried to shoot new episodes without rushing. That is why each subsequent part of the story was distinguished by intrigue, good humor, and unexpected revelations that fit perfectly into the main plot. So, the third film in the series also delighted viewers with its artistic qualities.

The events of the film begin in the afterlife, where the best kung fu masters have been transported after their deaths. The evil master Kai, a former comrade of Uway, who once betrayed everyone who trusted him and chose the path of evil, also finds himself here. Now, in the afterlife, Master Kai decides to defeat the souls of other warriors in order to obtain the legendary Qi energy, with which he can rule the entire world. Very soon, Kai will return to our world, and he must be stopped.
At the same time, a distant traveler, namely the panda Li Shan, arrives in the peaceful valley. He claims to be Po's real father, and the resemblance is truly amazing. Shang's mannerisms, appearance, and habits are exactly the same as Po's, so there is no doubt that they are related. The father tells Po that there is a secret panda village far away in the mountains, and Po decides to go there. Very soon, he will have to teach his fellow pandas the art of kung fu in order to defeat Kai, who has returned to our world, and his reanimated minions.
From the very first cartoon, it was clear that Po would sooner or later find his family and that they would play a big role in his personal story. And now we see this momentous event in the third part of the series, which, like the previous ones, is very original, interesting, and positive. Of course, Po is happy to see his father, with whom he is finally reunited, but at the same time, he does not forget about Master Oogway. Because Gus raised him and, in fact, raised him in his small house to be a true hero of the entire valley. Both fathers, the real one and the adoptive one, constantly argue with each other, but family values and love will overcome any adversity, as the cartoon will tell us more than once.

As for Master Kai, he turned out to be a very colorful and dangerous character, with whom it is not easy to fight a worthy battle. Even the help of the Furious Five will not be enough here, and the participation of the peace-loving pandas will definitely be needed, and Po will have to make a superhuman effort to turn them into a more or less decent fighting squad.

The third cartoon in the Po adventure series is also excellent and delighted us with a new twist in the story of our favorite hero. After all, it couldn't be that he didn't meet his real relatives, and this turned into a wonderful family adventure.
