There is a kind of films and cartoons that are almost impossible to criticize. I do not want to notice their shortcomings, even if they exist, and I want to extol their advantages to a greater extent than they objectively deserve. Such, for example, the "Monster Corporation."

Possessing a rather ordinary plot, the “Monster Corporation” immediately conquers with an unusual locale and even more unusual inhabitants. Frightening-looking, but actually harmless and even cute creatures are not a new idea, but it was in the "Monster Corporation" that it was realized just brilliantly. And their little world, where everything is “like people”, to make any adult smile — no serious satire can ever compare with the image of the modern world in the Monster Corporation.

The same applies to the technical component. Once the "Monster Corporation" was revolutionary - it would have been, because it was created at the dawn of modern computer animation. Today, of course, the possibilities of creators have grown many times. However, I must admit that the new edition of the cartoon feels serious work - the same 3D effects look very good on the big screen.

“Monster Corporation” is also good to see in order to evaluate how the animation has changed in terms of ideology, so to speak. Unfortunately, she has become much less serious - including the creators of this cartoon, Pixar, who made her name not on comedies, but on interesting stories. The entertaining element gradually crowds out stories about really important things; when you look at the underlined funny cartoon of the early 2000s, for some reason this is especially obvious. However, while the videos of Monsters University are tuned in an optimistic way - yes, they are also rather funny than serious, but there are high hopes that the prequel will be a lot from the magnificent original.
