It took Greg 10 years, two children, and countless trials for his father-in-law to come to terms—at least to some extent—with his existence. But after Greg, having hit rock bottom, lands a dead-end job at a pharmaceutical company, Jack’s suspicions grow exponentially. When Greg and Pam’s entire family—including her ex-boyfriend Kevin—gathers for the twins’ birthday, Greg will have to prove to the skeptical Jack that he’s the real man of the house. Misunderstandings, spying, and undercover missions—how will all of this help Greg pass his final test and become the new head of the family? Or will the trust that has developed among the relatives be undermined… for the better?

The same cast, the same film concept. The family dances and prances around the head of the household, trying by every means to please him. But not our main character—he’s utterly fed up with it all and has decided to swim against the current. He made yet another attempt to be better, to be more agreeable, but it failed spectacularly. So he decided to say “screw it all” and just be himself, live his own life—but life’s twists and turns won’t let him just go with the flow. And the family patriarch just keeps adding fuel to the fire. Try staying calm and level-headed in a situation like that.

This is the third film in the franchise, and it’s every bit as good as the first two. It’s just as good, fresh, and funny. It’s interesting to watch the main character’s new problems and the old man’s new jabs aimed at destroying our favorite character. And it all works together seamlessly, bringing laughter and joy to the audience for an hour and a half.

Robert De Niro, aging in every sense of the word, still hasn’t lost his edge. He’s just as lively and sassy, just as interesting and likable to the audience. He still does his job flawlessly and never lets us get bored. There aren’t many actors like him. That’s why we need to keep an eye on him while he’s still at the top of his game. Just as a fish gasps for air on dry land, we need to just as desperately soak up his work and let it sink in. Whether it’s action movies, dramas, or comedies, as in this case. He always looks natural, interesting, and passionate in every role.

An excellent comedy about misunderstandings, ambitions, family, and love. A magnificent, unchanged cast. Brilliant, funny new jokes and storylines. The film brings happiness and joy—it’s definitely worth watching.
