An outstanding film about Malcolm X, a fighter for the rights of black people in the United States, a fighter against corruption and despotism against black people by government officials.

Spike Lee made an excellent biographical film about the person about whom a picture could have been made with a longer timeline, but nevertheless, the director tried to include all the key moments from Malcolm's life, which somehow influenced his life and worldview.

The very concept of Islam preached in the United States, its shortcomings and unreliable base of doctrine is shown very clearly, where some time after Malcolm X hajj, he abandoned black racism and all ideas that do not correspond to the doctrine of Islam, which, however, served as the main split between him and Muhammad Elijah.

Not insignificant is the fact that Malcolm X is the first non-documentary to have received permission not to shoot in Mecca, which only shows the true attitude of Muslims themselves toward the person of Malcolm X.

An excellent film, from the category of "intellectual" cinema, if you like such pictures as "Bobby", "Nixon", "Harvey Milk", then "Malcolm X" will not disappoint your expectations.
