Life has never spoiled farmer Graham Hess with amazing events and occurrences. Until the day he saw that his cornfield was covered with incomprehensible, gigantic signs made of squashed stalks. The residents of the small Pennsylvania town are trying to find a clue to the phenomenon. But no one is more eager to find it than the farmer himself, for the fantastic events occurring in his field defy everything he knows and believes about the world. Hess begins a personal investigation, not yet knowing what unimaginable, frightening answers he will get to his questions...

Review 4K Movie

A brilliantly aged movie. Indeed the atmosphere of the movie only increases the tension in the viewer. No special musical accompaniment, noises, rustles. I think if there were no aliens, Shyamalan would have come up with something else..... The main idea of the movie is that what happens to us is there for a reason, everything exists for a purpose, both good situations and things and bad. Maybe God needed this priest to come back to faith because thanks to him a thousand people would come to salvation, a thousand minds would accept the peace of Christ and turn from their past lives and the world would change, it's just that Shyamalan left that answer out of the movie, showing only Mel Gibson's character putting on the priest's vestments and going to the ministry.

If someone thinks that the main thing is aliens, and wants to watch this movie as a sci-fi saga, or a disaster movie like 'War of the Worlds', he will be deeply disappointed. That's not what this movie is about. A special thanks to Joaquin Phoenix for his supporting role.
