Mike Figgis' movie 'Internal Affairs' is a fine example of a neo-noir police thriller that doesn't look dated even after 20+ years. This movie is worth seeing for a number of important reasons.

First: the script. The movie 'Internal Affairs' is a strong, stylish thriller with sharp plot twists, which is better to watch and evaluate on your own. The plot in the picture develops so unpredictably that the picture and after viewing does not leave your head.

Second: actors. It is unexpected to see Richard Gere in the role of a negative hero, but the actor coped 100%. Andy Garcia, Nancy Travis, William Baldwin and Annabella Sciorra played perfectly. Perfectly selected cast is a big plus of the movie and makes you watch the tape without missing a frame.

And, finally, the third: the direction. The movie is very original, tense and stylish from beginning to end. Even for the sake of a great directorial work it is worth watching this thriller, so I advise 'Internal Affairs' to fans of quality films of the early 90s and fans of Richard Gere, who will see him in an unusual role.
