Meg Altman and her daughter Sarah moved into a newly purchased home, previously owned by a millionaire. A good house in a good neighborhood, it would seem the perfect place to live. The movie is just a great, great movie. This is one of the rare thrillers that turned out well.

I liked the coloring of all the characters. Foster is nervous, but he pulls it off. The acting is great. Whitaker is a calm, kind thief who just wanted to come in, take and leave without hurting anyone. Junior - nervous but energetic, he's even slightly comical, you can really laugh at him. I liked Yoakam as Raul - he's a really violent character, he doesn't care about others, he's a killer. About Kristen Stewart also can not not be said, played great.

The situation was not standard, although everything is simple. The plot is consistent, exciting. The transition to the next scene in this movie is developed through the fact that someone comes up with an idea. Positive characters - how to contact the police, people, negative - how to lure them out of the room. That's how the plot is built - one comes up with something, and the opposite one tries to stop him. But these are just transitions. In general, the plot is interesting, unpredictable, although there are minor coincidences, but justifiable. There is a tense atmosphere, which builds up with each new scene. In general, the plot is exciting.

Everything is filmed at the highest level. The 2-minute scene with Slow-mo is worth it. Especially I like the camera flying near small objects, detailed zooming, camera passing through walls - Fincher's specialties. Shooting is leisurely, fuss-free, even in action scenes - it gives unusualness, non-standard.
