Story Movie

Frans is a physical education teacher and activist who opposes the use of pesticides; Patrick is a little-known lawyer specializing in environmental law; Matthias is a lobbyist for an agrochemical giant. The paths of these three people will cross because of the terrible act of a desperate farmer.

A suspenseful film about ordinary people, farmers and those living near fields, who take on big pesticide companies that deny the effects on health. They are defended by Gilles Lellouche, who is deeply concerned and confronts the communication and management of lies organized by Pierre Niney in the role of the denigrator of facts. The opposing side uses every means possible to stop the investigations and the possibility of a trial.

Frédéric Tellier steers the ship well (we enjoyed L'Affaire SK1, 2014), without sinking into sentimentality, with a noble and solid Gilles Lellouche and a charming, devious and treacherous Pierre Niney. There is also the beautiful character of Emmanuelle Bercot, whom we remember for her extremely powerful and touching performance.
