Story Movie
The film tells the story of the creation of one of the most popular social networks on the Internet - Facebook. The resounding success of this network among users around the world forever changed the lives of fellow students at Harvard University, who founded it in 2004 and within a few years became the youngest multimillionaires in the United States.
Review 4K Movie
For contemporaries, Facebook has already become an ordinary social network that allows people not only to communicate with each other, but has become one of the ideal platforms for doing business, promoting advertising products and services, and making money. But where did this whole story begin? What was the starting point? Who were its creators? And, most importantly, what kind of people they were. The authors of David Fincher's biographical drama "The Social Network" tried to answer all these questions.
Synopsis Mark Zuckerberg, although he was distinguished by the extraordinary mind and talent of a real programmer, was the simplest Harvard student who remained in the shadow of the student get-together. But once, an accidentally thrown idea and help from his best friend gave him the opportunity to create the largest social network in the world, which turned him into one of the richest people on the planet and at the same time forever secured him the status of the loneliest person on Earth.
The acting "Social Network" cannot be called a classic biopic. Everything that happens on the screen is an artistic fiction, born in the minds of writer Ben Mezrich and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, who only tried to present the human side of the history of the creation of Facebook, to show the relationship of its participants. Of course, the leading actors made their contribution, each of whom created their own unique image of the real character. First of all, it should be noted the play of Jesse Eisenberg, who played the role of Mark Zuckerberg. His hero is a typical mathematical genius-programmer who considers himself smarter and better than others, while mistakenly trying to create an impression of himself as a scum, not suspecting that by doing so he turned people away from himself, and as a result, he was left completely alone. I also liked the play of Andrew Garfield, who played the role of Mark's former friend Eduardo Saverin, for whom Facebook was not just a business, but a personal matter, which Mark secretly turned into a treacherous trap, forever breaking his friend's heart. And finally, we should mention Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, another co-founder of Facebook, who, being a business man, made a brand out of the site, although for this he forever destroyed the friendship of two people.
Directing Although at the time of the release of this film, David Fincher already had an impressive track record, in my opinion, it was from The Social Network that the director got his signature signature style. Although the film tells a lot about the creation of Facebook, about its growth and development, about increasing the audience, about how the creators turned the idea into a multi-billion dollar business, Fincher still focuses on the human side of this story, showing us the participants as ordinary people. We see how several interests and desires intertwined and fiercely clashed at once: money, fame, self-affirmation. The latter refers more specifically to the character of Mark Zuckerburg, for whom Facebook became an opportunity to be paid attention to, so that people would know who he is, that he can now afford whatever he wants. The problem is that the hero created an online service that allows people to communicate and find new friends, but at the same time he lost all his friends and his only true love, being left alone with only five hundred users whom he does not even know personally.
Screenplay The film is based on the novel by Ben Mezrich. The plot develops in three time planes: during the trial between Mark and his former friend Eduardo, during the trial between Mark and the Winklevoss brothers, and, as it were, a stream of memories that emerges during interrogations. So, we see that the idea of Facebook became a case related to Mark's hacker attack on Harvard servers, which did not go unnoticed among the student communities, including the Winklevoss brothers, who were ready to invest in a startup, but who needed an experienced programmer who could implement their idea. in life. Here a hitch emerges in the plot, which hints to us that Mark originally stole this idea. And this was only the first bell. The second bell was the development of the network, the attraction of financing, the transition to income generation. The problem was the different approaches to this issue in the team, in which an invisible feud between Eduardo and Sean Parker arose. However, choosing between them, Mark chooses himself again, or rather the side that will be beneficial not even to the social network itself, but to himself.
The bottom line "The Social Network" grabs with its simplicity and clarity of narration, revealing the complex multifaceted world of IT people who, like most ordinary people, dreamed of wealth, prosperity, fame and influence, however, being young, ambitious and, of course, greedy, were forced to pay a high price, sacrificing human relationships and friendship. In general, without further ado, it is recommended for viewing.
