The film was shot in Europe. About the USA. In Europe, the success is colossal. But in the USA the assessments are very restrained and mixed. I would say the film pissed off a lot of Americans. And not only believers. To put it very briefly, the meaning of the film is to express the contempt for America, which European High Culture has always experienced.

What the majority saw - some kind of anti-religious or feminist film, this, of course, is the cover. On this topic, already chewed up in order, a huge pile of pictures has been shot. And this piece is special. Because it is about a rare, very ancient and hidden topic. Therefore, 'Inferno' became the highest grossing film in the Netherlands. Follow the language line in the very first chapter of the story 'Genesis'. Who and how it relates to the Dutch language. And it immediately becomes clear what Europe is and who the Americans are. Unsurprisingly, the typical US viewer stopped chewing on popcorn and began to grimace. Therefore, the storyline of the Initial Chapter was shifted closer to the end. That the film is not so overtly anti-American. And when I saw the poster of the film for the release in the United States, I even laughed - there 'Underworld' was allegedly advertised as a Western.

Europeans have penetrated very deep into the soul of American society, unearthed its crib, which is carefully stored in the house of their grandmother.
