The year 2078. Life on Mars has become a reality. Remmy was born on this planet and has never been to Earth. Her family lives in an isolated colony bounded by an oxygen dome. But when their home is attacked by armed invaders, Remmy is forced to face what her parents kept her from, and learn what Mars really hides.

A family of three: mother, father and daughter live peacefully in a secluded area on a distant planet away from Mother Earth. Suddenly, they are visited by strange people, whom the father of the family notices from afar. But when they see the warning early in the morning: "Get out" the family begins to use drastic measures.

The cast: It's been a long time since I've seen Johnny Lee Miller. It seemed like three years ago that the sequel to Danny Boyle's iconic 'On Needle' came out, and here he is again before us. His role here is limited, but while the timing of the film, he gives his all. Each of the characters has its own lava: the father's 'Erza', the mother's 'Ilsa' and so on. The actor perfectly played the role of the father, and even with a rifle in his hands. He worries about his relatives, but when he has to confront the named guests, he goes through the motions.

Sofia Boutella hasn't been taking on any big projects lately, so she flashes as Johnny in this little-known film. At least she gets a little more screen time. She loves her daughter and how a father's nerves are fraying.

Brooklyn Pierce has declared herself as a talent with a capital letter. She made a short film at the age of six and after 'Project Florida' her popularity skyrocketed. Now she plays a daughter who has a hard time with the arrival of the stranger, but she does everything around the house: feed the pigs, loves her robot Stif (who incidentally in the future will play an important role in her struggle) and well notices that one of the murdered women - the love of a lifetime one of the wanderers depicted in the picture. Now she will have to endure no small amount to become stronger, and to save herself.

Nell Tiger Free plays a grown-up version of Pierce's character. Living under oppression by the day, she tries to cope with the accumulated pain and prepares to exact her revenge.

Everything else: The three-act structure of the script is respected.

The cast: Wyatt Rockefeller wrote the script and directed the picture. He was able to make the short film 'Entropy' before that, but it's been a while since 2014, and now he's back with a feature-length, debut, and low-budget film.

Impressions: I would call the film weak for many reasons, but it reminded me something of the short film 'Snow in the Desert' in the anthology 'Love. Death & Robots' (though without the family theme), but here the titular actors appear and one, rising up through the ranks of Pierce. The picture tells us that when children grow up they must challenge not only the pesky stepfather (who has ulterior motives for your future) but also the world, in which many dangers lurk. You have to become bolder and dare to take the desperate journey of your life.
