You simply could not hear about this story. I am sure of this one hundred percent. We know her as a fairy tale about the Scarlet Flower, but in the West she knows her as a wonderful cartoon from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. As for the latter, it is really unique in its kind, because it was not without reason that he was nominated for an Oscar in the category of best film. The popularity of the animation was so impressive that the producers even decided to encroach on the sacred, having removed the game remake. But I hasten to calm down your criticism - the version of 2017 turned out to be quite high-quality and one might even say that it’s sincere.

Of course, the plot repeats exactly the fairy tale and the cartoon, but from this he does not lose at all. The story turned out bright and colorful, like a book with children's illustrations. The abundance of acquaintances and completely new songs is quite entertaining; computer graphics were used in the case. So everything tells us that Disney coped with the task and did not shame his story

I would also like to dwell on Emma Watson, who played Belle. I will not say that I especially love this actress, and here also her game did not seem to me a revelation, but she did not annoy, and this is already a plus. Add to this the excellent cast of the supporting plan, including Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellen, and we get a completely balanced fabulous fireworks, to which there is no point in making claims.

I liked the film and I do not consider it a thoughtless tracing-paper from the original cartoon. Director Bill Condon pleased both parents and children. Therefore, there is nothing to doubt, but it is better to take and see this wonderful story as soon as possible!
