The girl Sam comes to get a job at the funeral home, where the ceremony of remembrance of the deceased boy has just taken place. The eccentric undertaker Montgomery Dark assures that every deceased has an interesting story, and he collected them for years. Sam asks to tell her the worst, Dark chooses three - from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. But it looks like the girl is not so easy to scare.

A story about a pretty girl Sam, who comes to get a job in a funeral home for the gloomy owner Mantgomery Dark (a tall, pale dilda, as in the movie "Phantasm"). Mantgomery begins to sprinkle with terrible jokes and fables in order to appease the ardor of young Sam and show with what horrors and passions her work will be connected ...

The film is divided into a main plot and four stories in the style of "Tales from the Crypt", at the end of each viewer an instructive moral awaits. The first story is the most unpretentious, but with each next story, the narration becomes more creepy, bloody and exciting. Sam is not satisfied with such predictable stories and therefore Mantgomery has to plunge deeper and deeper into the clutches of dark chaos in order to surprise the young upstart.

The tape organically mixes humor, youth horror, dark horror and even drama, but in moderate portions and without exaggeration, therefore it is easy and pleasant to watch the film. We were pleased with the refined stylish picture and excellent visual effects at a high level. The high-quality soundtrack from the magnificent duet of composers "Mondo Boys", which refers to the era of the 70s, did not disappoint either.

Moral: if your grandfather is relentlessly poisoning you with dark stories, then it's time to think about what he really does in the basement in secret from everyone.
