Slumber Party Massacre II 4K 1987 Ultra HD 2160p
One of the survivors of the first film, a girl named Courtney, suffers from nightmares and visions of horrific murder scenes that happened at that party. She dreams of a killer with a drill, a leather-clad rock musician with a drill bit on the finger of his red guitar. On a weekend trip with her boyfriend, a member of the school rock band, her nightmares become even more terrifying. Courtney's girlfriends think she's lost her mind, but they can't even imagine that her nightmares will soon come true when they discover that the killer with the drill is back...

Review 4K Movie

The first part of 'The Slumber Party Massacre' for me is the benchmark of slasher films, but the sequel is a complete failure. To start with the fact that the plot itself is based on constant dreams with a maniac dismembering friends and friends of the heroine, showing us in advance what the end of the movie will be. Further it is worth saying that the plot itself is not thought out at all and is full of bloopers, with a grandiose and lame ending which makes you want to spit in the screen and drill the creators.

They changed everything in the film: the director, the writer, the actors, the maniac, the concept of the plot. The motives for the murder are not clear at all. It is not clear what kind of maniac he is, how he gets to the party, what kind of shit he has in his hands and why the hell does he make himself look like the biggest jerk?

A certain part of the movie mimics Freddy Kruegger - the maniac runs after the girl in his dreams, drills her girlfriends, makes silly jokes, appears in the most unbelievable places, and acts like the latest buffoon. The bathtub fills with blood, clots of smoke appear. At the same time, the maniac himself is a total wretch. He is dressed disgustingly, the actors are terribly selected, all his manners and style are just clownish, and the instrument in his hands is utter nonsense. Dancing a breakdance in a leather suit, playing guitar, quoting Rolling Stones lyrics he manages to drill everybody and everything with his machine. And the first murder in the movie takes place on the 51st minute! For the sake of what to watch three quarters of the movie is unclear.

There is no nudity in the film, not counting a couple of scenes with naked breasts of one of the girls during the dancing and champagne pouring. The actresses are also not flamboyant, not good-looking, not spectacular. No acting talent, no revealing characters, no intelligible dialogues. The whole movie is a mess, nonsense and clowning. You can only watch the occasional murder here, and there are not many of them.

The music in this movie is disgusting! Perhaps the worst soundtrack in the history of slashers, you cannot listen to it at all, neither what plays in the background, nor what this group of girls tries to sing without any ear, voice or talent. The sound design of the movie is absolutely disgusting.

The only plus of the movie is effective murders and blood, but they appear only in glimpses in the heroine's dreams and in the last 15 minutes of the movie, and even that is interrupted by running around, the murderer's clownery and senseless talk about nothing.

The plot in general is some kind of comedy. Beginning with the image of this 'maniac', continuing with the attack of a revived chicken grill, and ending with ridiculous situations, such as when they break down the door, the guy gets killed, the owner of the house comes out minutes later, looking around with the words 'damn kids' jokes. Marasmus. And the inflatable dolls in the bed? A hand in a hamburger? Breakdancing during a murder? Cops with the last names Voorhees and Krueger who only show up once in the movie and that's in a lame dumb scene with a falsely missing blonde. Absolute crap, the dumbest comedy, just global marasmus.

The movie was a total disappointment. Absolutely ridiculous nonsense. What kind of slasher is this? It's a stupid comedy musical. There are even a lot of murders behind the scenes, although they try to spill a lot of blood. There is absolutely no logic not only in the actions of the characters, but in general in the development of the plot, solid muddle shooting scenes. The victims are dispersed into two groups, one going towards the city, the other going by car to nowhere. Of course, the maniac has been in the backseat for a while now, and having drilled the jerk behind the wheel, manages to catch up with the other couple as they try to find shelter in the house. No neighbors can hear the shrieks in the process, and neither can the sound of the drill. The mind-boggling "why?!" brings to hysterical laughter altogether. Such a delirious scenario is still to be found.
