Story Movie

Andy, the boy Chucky tried to possess in the first episode, ends up in foster care (the boy's birth mother has been declared mentally ill). He still has nightmares about Chucky.

Meanwhile, a firm producing red-haired toy dolls, in order to avoid a bad reputation (due to the events that took place in the original film), restores the Chucky doll from its "remains" found at the "scene". So the firm tries to prove that the doll has no real danger, but it turns out to be the opposite...

Now Andy is again faced with a small, but very dangerous, plastic monster who still intends to possess the boy's body...

Review 4K Movie

I watched this movie when I was a kid and it made an unforgettable impression on me. After it I constantly had nightmares and the ominous face of that doll.

The movie is skillfully and professionally produced, the plot absorbs from the very first minutes, starting with the moment when the factory worker was electrocuted while restoring Chucky. This part surpasses the first part in the number of murders and in the very image of the doll. Here Chucky looks even more charismatic and sinister than before.

I would also like to point out that the movie is just as scary as the first part of `Child's Play'. We are constantly kept in suspense, and Chucky himself is much more ingenious here in terms of his murders.

The ending is more atmospheric and interesting than the first part. I especially liked such moments as the murder of the factory worker and Chucky losing his arm. It turned out perfectly well! The tension got even more by the final part of the film, and here Chucky transforms into a really furious monster who can frighten you quite a lot by his very appearance.

In the end, I want to say that this is my favorite horror movie.It's too bad that by the last series (especially in `Herbirth of Chucky`) such a successful horror movie about a killer doll turns into a stupid comedy with lots of marasmus and nonsense.After all, the first parts were really scary! Personally for me `Kid Game 2` was more interesting and dynamic than the first part, but the suspense and atmosphere they are at the same level.

The first two parts of Child's Play are undoubtedly the best, the scariest and most well filmed of the franchise.
