Story Movie

A post-apocalyptic future. Moe buys a skeleton-shaped robot head from Stalker and decides to give it to his sculptor girlfriend Jill. But the robot head turns out to be part of a combat android called MARK-13, which has excellent artificial intelligence. The robot comes to life and begins to gradually reassemble itself from nearby scrap metal.

Review 4K Movie

Pearls are found in one shell out of many, but if you look for diamonds in them, the few pearls you have will be sent to the bottom of the sea with the garbage. And that's a shame.

And, if no one will ever take offense that 'Amadeus' is a bad melodrama or 'The Godfather' is a bad action movie, then everything is not so clear with 'Hardware'. Attitudes towards this movie can change a lot, depending on your vantage point. Put Salvatores' 'Nirvana' on its left and Cronenberg's 'Existencia' on its right, and the punk component of 'Irons' becomes visible to the naked eye.

Punk is now categorized into many 'subspecies', for example, 'The Mutant Chronicles' is vaporpunk, the same 'Existence' was defined as bio-punk. But punk is not design or entourage, it's a specific culture. Stanley's 'Hardware', as an example of this culture, I give it a rating of 9 out of 10. An atmospheric movie, living an inner life, a thing in itself. The acting is without frills or failures, the special effects are simple but stylish and fit in perfectly. If you are not a snob and can happily revisit 'Logan's Escape' or 'Nirvana', 'Hardware' can be a pleasure to watch too.
