The Meg: The depth monster is perhaps the most controversial and controversial film I have ever seen this year, which is catchy and at the same time repulsive to itself throughout the entire viewing. I’m worried about the latest trends chosen for shark movies. There are only two of them. Either everything slips into fierce thrash, or vice versa takes the form of an incredibly pretentious and clichéd action movie. The Meg download uhd chose the second path. The creators enlisted the support of Eastern investors, invested in computer graphics, invited a famous actor to the main role, somehow crafted an adaptation script for a film based on the best-selling book of the same name, made a couple of spectacular posters and trailers, put a PG-13 rating (16+ in Russia) and got ready to meet the profits in the midst of the summer blockbuster period, but have not forgotten to prescribe the genre of “science fiction thriller with elements of horror”. Of the latter, only the word “thriller” is true, since the sci-fi basis is lame, and I don’t want to recall these very “elements of horror”. What to say, if the initial scene of the legendary Steven Spielberg film “Jaws”, where the shark was not even shown, was a hundred times worse than the whole picture of The Meg 4k. However, you shouldn’t blame the creators of the picture for everything, as there are bosses of well-known companies who are greedy to every cent and are not ready to take risks. Due to the imposed PG-13 rating, it is almost impossible to unfold in the film, and the R rating implies the risk of losing a huge amount of money. "MEG" and so can be a box office failure, but the loss may not be so great. But with a rating of R, which in Russia equates to 18+, the tape would generally have collected crumbs and become the biggest cash catastrophe of the year. But still, I will lie if I say that everything in the picture is done carelessly and mediocre.

For example, visual effects are made at a decent level. Also to the pluses you can add the frequent irony of the situation and banter over ordinary clichés of the genre. Perhaps this can finish the transfer of undeniable advantages. Further I would like to touch upon controversial points that are difficult to attribute to disadvantages and merits.

For me, the main controversial point was the excessive frivolity and the fact that closer to the final the film is becoming more and more like a comedy thrash from the studio Alyssum. The second controversial thing I can call screamers! Not one of them is scary, but only a child of seven can call them unexpected. Their problem is that they are not preceded by the injection of the atmosphere. However, I can see that somehow they keep you in good shape. The third controversial point is the incredibly clichéd characters, which, it is worth noting, are sometimes amused by the beating of their images.

Summing up, The Meg Ultra HD is a pretty empty summer blockbuster, created only for running IMAX format. There are two reasons to go for this movie. The first is an incredibly brutal state. And the second - good special effects, which are exactly the same better look in the format of IMAX. I sincerely advise you not to give money for this trash category “B” fighter. But if all of you decided to go to this particular film, then I have three simple rules for you:

1) Turn off the brain.

2) Forget about the existence of such an unnecessary thing as "logic".

3) Pretend to be an eight-year-old provincial child, who was first brought to a normal movie theater.
