In my opinion, this is one of the best films in its genre. The filmmakers truly succeeded in creating a terrifying atmosphere. But despite all the tragic events in the film, after watching it, I was left with a sense of hope alongside everything else.

Although there are plenty of scary moments, there isn’t a single negative character in the film—unless you count the ghosts. Man-Man always had someone to support her. There’s the little girl in the hospital who, despite her terrible diagnosis, remained kind and friendly, and the psychologist who ultimately became more than just a specialist helping Man. And even Man’s family, who don’t always understand him.

There isn’t that same sense of hopelessness as in *The Conjuring*, which is perhaps why the film doesn’t scare me as much. On the other hand, there is a plot here, though it’s generally quite ordinary. But that still works in the film’s favor.

Overall, the film leaves a good impression thanks to its atmosphere and well-chosen cast.
