Baron Victor Frankenstein, obsessed with the idea of ​​his own world domination, collects Man and Woman from body parts, so that they create for him a new race of people, his obedient and unquestioning slaves. But there is only one significant snag: the new Adam has no head. It turned out to be not so easy for Victor and his servant Otto to get it.

The film 'Body for Frankenstein', filmed in 1973 by one of Andy Warhol's associates, Paul Morrissey, is a very peculiar interpretation of the Frankenstein story, having practically nothing to do with Mary Shelley's novel. This film is related to the original only by the theme of the Creator's pride in relation to his own Creation, slipping between the lines, however, screenwriters Tonino Guerra, Pat Hackett and Paul Morrissey diluted the film with philosophical reflections on the power of power, madness and crime and punishment, packing them, however, in a trashy shell. therefore scenes of violence and other unpleasant details in the picture are more than enough. However, it is impossible not to note the amazing and stylish work of the cameraman Luigi Kuweiler, who created the effect of dissonance in the film, saturating the video sequence of the tape with an abundance of sex scenes, one of which is very, very memorable for a number of reasons.

The acting in the tape looks rather unusual, because it is very expressive and extremely expressive. Udo Kir looks pretty good in the role of Viktor Frankentane, creating a purely autonomous image of his own. Joe Dallesandro, Arnaud Juerging and Monica Van Vouren also made memorable heroes.

The soundtrack, written by the composer Claudio Gizzy, creates an excellent atmosphere in the picture.

I recommend this somewhat unconventional horror film to all fans of trash and Euro horror.
