For a Few Dollars More 4K 1965 Ultra HD 2160p
Making a few extra dollars honestly in the Wild West is not a problem if you have a trusted colt and a permit from the authorities to shoot gangsters. That's the way professional bounty hunters "The Man With No Name" and Colonel Mortimer go side by side, whose common target is the criminal gang of the Mexican Indio.

Review 4K Movie

The plot of Leone's second western is amazingly banal: there are two bounty hunters. There's a gang, led by a hardened recidivist called the Indian. There is a bounty for each of the bandits, and both hunters decide to destroy the OCG to the root...

Leone again showed wonders of improvisation, and filed a simple plot so that captures from the very first minutes.

As it should be, the main character played by Clint Eastwood is unshaven, verbose and bearing no name. The same poncho, the same cigarillos, a revolver - he reappeared in the role of the Man Without a Name. Clint didn't let you down - he handled the role superbly - and what did you expect?

An increased budget went to the film's benefit: The second bounty hunter was taken by Lee Van Cleef, remembered for his small role in Zimmermann's wonderful 'Exactly at Noon' (1952). By this time, Cliff's acting career was almost over, he was suffering from moneylessness and progressive alcoholism. Leone brought him back to life: many more Leone wannabes in later years would take this natural-born cowboy to major roles. Sometimes even Eastwood outshines Colonel Mortimer in charisma - a compliment, in case anyone doesn't get it. But God loves a trinity. The main villain is Gian Maria-Volonte, who played Ramon Rojo in A Fistful of Dollars. Volote acting talent (who, incidentally, played the role of Rogozhin from Dostoyevsky's 'The Idiot') manifested itself most fully in this film: his villain is both cruel and sentimental, on the verge of madness. The characters created by these three actors are so natural that it is impossible to give preference to any of them.

Watch the movie and decide for yourself.

I will repeat that it is a banal and seemingly predictable scenario made it so hard to look away. In addition, like the director's previous film, there is the following structure here: one outside, one inside, and the third in the middle- only the order of places changes.

The film abounds with magnificent mise-en-scenes, some remarks of the heroes are cited, the landscapes shot in the same Spanish desert - all this is only a small part of the film's advantages. Not to mention the magnificent music by Ennio Morricone. Fans of the genre are highly recommended to watch.
