Story Movie

The hacker got lucky: he hacked into the Pentagon's computer network and started playing "war". The operators of the military department, followed by the commanders, decided that the Russians were starting World War III, and began to prepare a retaliatory strike. Realizing WHAT he has done, the guy wants to stop the game, but it is not so easy.

It is now difficult to look at the possibilities of the Internet, which are described in this film, without smiling. But that in no way makes the movie itself less appealing.

A teenager who wants to have a little fun with some fairly unsophisticated computer games, unwittingly drives the computer crazy, which may threaten to start a new world war. Of course, it is not without its 'cranks', but in spite of all its absurdity, the plot is quite easy to perceive.

For some reason there was even a place for lengthy abstract reasoning in this movie...I don't know, I didn't see anything of the kind. It's just a good movie which absorbed stereotypes and fears of the time and won't let you get bored for 2 hours.

By the way, it stars a young Matthew Broderick in the title role, so his fans are recommended in the first place, but the casual visitor here is also something to watch.
