Story Movie

This is the story of two burglars who are not really who they appear to be. One of them is an agent from the Drug Enforcement Administration and the other is a secret agent of Navy Intelligence. Without wanting to, they investigate each other's cases and also steal money from the mafia. But one day the heroes will have to steal money from the CIA.

The movie is based on the comic book of the same name. I didn't read it in Russian, so I had to watch it in the original. There are, of course, a few inconsistencies, but I don't think it's critical. Because first of all the plot and the acting of the main characters are important to me.

Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg met on the same set. That's great! Here's the first inconsistency. Wahlberg's partner in the comic book is white. Other than that, he looks alike. Heh-heh.

It was directed by an Icelander named Balthasar Kormákur. He made a crime movie in Iceland. Then he made a drama in the U.S. And then he and Wahlberg made Smuggled. An actual remake of the director's Icelandic movie. I loved it. And now the director and the actor are back together. Wahlberg often makes a lot of money off of these relationships. By the way, he has a lot of them. There are actors, filmed by a narrow circle of people. Mark, on the other hand, is open to everyone.

Comic book, perhaps, sometimes felt. But it's a great crime thriller. And there's a cool detective line. With the presence of a drug cartel, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Navy SEALs and the CIA.

The place of action is the U.S.-Mexico border district. It's a nice place. You can taste the charms of small towns and big haciendas. Enjoy the fresh air. And watch the livestock.

- Chicken. But it's not the same.

I liked that Mark Wahlberg movie. "City of Vice" was a little pale. "Blood and Sweat" was a hell of a movie. But here, there's no overacting or underacting. It's a little crime movie. Great.

Humor in the picture is enough. It is built on dialogues, actions of heroes. Also sometimes invade small details. Whether it's a light in the garage or a friendly shot in the leg.

A great movie that allows you to relax well and enjoy what is happening.
