Story Movie

A young man named Boone believes himself guilty of a series of brutal murders. He is convinced of this by psychiatrist Decker. Boone seeks salvation in the legendary Midian, an underground city of fugitives where all sins are forgiven. This city serves as a refuge for the Night People, an ancient race of monstrous mutants who change appearance and hide from daylight and human eyes. Warmly welcomed by the night people, Boone must now prioritize Midian's safety above all else. And forever forget Lori, who loves him and is trying to find him. And in her wake follow the police and Decker, who dreams of destroying the night folk.

It's not a bad horror movie, complicated, mysterious. It started with a maniac, continued with a battle between people and monsters, in which you still have to think about who exactly is the monster. Clive Barker as always in his repertoire, but he just can not make a movie like anything else. Here Mr. Barker came up with a civilization that exists within the afterlife, but exactly where this very world borders on us.

This picture was not popular and did not claim success, but it is worth watching for a connoisseur of the genre. A truly unlike anything else, a spectacle that contains a mystery, which... Okay, I will not spoil the impressions from viewing, maybe someone will understand me and appreciate this extraordinary horror movie.
