Not long ago I reviewed 'Kick-Ass' to refresh my memory before watching the 2nd part and to compare the two movies on a fresh head. The first part was just great - which had both great humor and great scenes.

Briefly about the plot, the action in the movie unfolds 3 years later, Kick-Ass is happy that he was able to inspire other people with his deed, that everyone can be a hero, that you just need to want to help people, and he himself at this time withdrew from business. Kick-Ass continues the work they started with her father and tries to help people, but she grows up and there are other problems that need to be solved. Kick-Ass decides to come back, but he wants to do it as a team, because there is a new villain with huge funds who wants to do evil.

In the movie there was a replacement, instead of Matthew Vaughn, who apparently continues to work on the X-Men series was directed by Jeff Wadlow, and to be frank, the result is on the face of it.

In the first part, there was no storyline to speak of, for everyone understood that this was an entertaining movie and the plot was just simple - not contrived. Here Jeff Wadlow decided that this little and tried to twist the simple storyline and I think it was a mistake for the movie.

As for the filming, it is noticeably inferior to its predecessor, there seems to be blood, everyone fights, but there are no those original scenes, which were really a lot in the first part, but decided that the movie could use more crudity and vulgarity - I do not share his opinion again.

It's all trifles, because one of the main advantages of the first part - the sound, and is not next to it, now I can consider it, well there is, sometimes it is even in the theme, but it does not give such a fervor, which was.

If you look at the game of actors, Chloe Grace Moretz - matured during this time and it went to a certain disadvantage, in the first part she was adorable and cute, in the second part decided that she needs to play more seriously, why for a fan movie it, if she had such a great way out, but her role she plays great. But in her acting talent, once again she did not make any doubts. Aaron Taylor-Johnson - he wasn't the major plus of the first Kick-Ass, nor was he the second, but he played even, nothing more. Will star in the Avengers sequel, maybe a serious role would suit him better. Christopher Mintz-Plasse - he is a great addition, although it is likely that they wanted to make an even bigger clown out of him.
