The traps are set. For a daring robbery, a gang of thugs needs a certain Nick, familiar with the security system of a thriving casino. He's about to be released from prison.

As a decoy to meet him they send the beautiful Ashley, who was having a romantic correspondence with him in absentia. Nick's unsuspecting friend Rudy decides to impersonate him in order to meet the mysterious girl. And now this gamble may cost him his life....

This time Casey Cooper will start his story about the movie he watched right away with... and you guessed it... not with the cast (although it is undoubtedly stellar and cute here), but with the storyline, namely with praising the brilliant story from beginning to end....

The plot of the picture is indeed a fairy tale. Not by genre, of course (by genre it is an action movie, a thriller, perhaps a detective), but by the impressions it caused in this particular viewer. Not only is the story very original, but there will be a lot of twisted moves. There is everything: there is friendship, there is betrayal, there is love, there are plans and, most importantly, a lot of unpredictable turns, transitions and characters who will turn out to be not who they pretend to be (the main character is only at the beginning of this list). Traditionally, when the plot is so good that it's really worth watching and discovering in all its glory on its own, I don't go into any description of it, so here I'll say one word: great!

On the technical side (picture, sound, etc., etc.) everything is also on a good level, typical for this kind of quality movie productions, so we won't linger on this symbolic stop. At least: during the course of the movie I did not have a single complaint.

Well, and the last final chord (by position in the review, but by no means in importance) in ode to the movie “Gambling” is the cast. Ben Affleck once again pleased with the lead role and a well played character. Thank you, Ben. Charlize Theron was just super gorgeous. Of course, a special acting game from her was not required, but played her character is worthy of a separate close attention, and not only because of the stunning appearance of the actress (in the movie she herself asks the question: Well, who can resist? - and to be honest Casey Cooper has not yet received an answer to this question). The rest of the actors also worked well and fit into their images (by the way, also not so their faceless, at least for a couple of separate moments, characters) as possible by the way.
