Story Movie

Prosecutor Morioka is arrested by police on charges of robbery and rape. Numerous pieces of evidence are found in his apartment, witnesses are present, and the Attorney General of Tokyo does not believe in his innocence. In an effort to prove that it was all a setup, Morioka escapes from custody and, fleeing from justice, begins his own investigation.

Review 4K Movie

A pleasant movie in every respect. A kind of dedication to Hitchcock in the style of Jacques Deret and Philippe Labrot, who were fashionable at the time. The very beginning of the movie is worth only - a woman announces her robbery and rape, and the criminal looks into her eyes and smiles impudently. And rightly so, for the presumption of innocence has not yet been abolished. And the person accused of the crime turns out to be a prosecutor.

Everything is falsified and it remains either to accept the imposed share or to run away. Quickly and dashingly, breaking laws and casting a shadow on his honest name. And ahead - intrigue and murder, a beautiful girlfriend and solving a whole tangle of terrible crimes, psychiatric hospital and imposed suicide. Sato can be banal - sex in front of a burning fire, and can be hardcore - a woman hiding her man suddenly undresses to embarrass the one who is looking for him. Sato brings everything to a banal ending, albeit unexpected, but the final speech of prosecutor Morioka leaves no chance to the system - I am ready to run from justice, but I am not ready to judge.

The abrupt final passage by a silent Ken Takakura to the hit tunes of Hachiro Aoyama is foppish and honest. It's real. It seems like a thriller, and there's investigation, and there's plenty of kitsch, but the important thing is that the movie doesn't reduce everything to coincidence. No, it's not a flaw in the system, it's a flaw in the system. It turns out that the director combines meaningfulness and spectacle. And that's expensive.
