I don't think it makes much sense to talk about acting. The first violin, of course, is played by the hero of Clint Eastwood (the actor and the character are already inseparable, and the mention of the actor and the director, on whose account there are many masterpieces, causes, first of all, one, very clear association), but his companions also did their best. They played, as they say, from the heart. Therefore, the viewer fell in love with it. Even minor characters are remembered for a long time: the captain 'soaked in alcohol', dreaming of blowing up the bridge hated by all soldiers, which they must defend at the cost of their lives; Wallace, an evil and soulless 'boar' who beats prisoners of war ... Even a one-armed shooter, whose screen time takes a couple of minutes at most, does not leave their heads for a long time. (First of all, by his sudden death and Tuco's cynical phrase: 'If you want to shoot, shoot, do not talk.'

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of those films that absolutely everyone loves. Every phrase is a popular quote, every scene is a classic. And the hero of Clint Eastwood long ago entered the history of not only the western, but the entire cinema as a whole. An unconditional masterpiece.
